Binairo is a binary logic puzzle: fill every square with one of two symbols so the grid follows three simple rules. In Meowbino those symbols are cats — a sunny orange day-cat and a sleepy black night-cat.
Rule one: each row and each column must finish with an equal number of day-cats and night-cats. Rule two: you can never have three of the same cat in a row, going across or down. Rule three: some cells are joined by a small badge — an = means the two cats are the same, an × means they are different.
Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and you never need to guess — each move follows from the rules. Tap a cell to cycle it through day-cat, night-cat, and empty. New to it? Read the step-by-step guide first.

Binairo by any other name
This puzzle goes by many names. Binairo is the same game as takuzu, binary sudoku, binoxxo, Tohu-wa-Vohu, and the “sun and moon” style of binary puzzle. Whatever you call it, the rules are identical — balance the two symbols, avoid three in a row, and respect the equals and not-equals badges. Meowbino simply makes the two symbols adorable.
